4 teaspoons |
Margarine/Butter |
| A pinch | saffron |
| To taste | Cardamom powder |

Method:
Mix together (1 cup) water and (1 cup) milk powder thoroughly. Put in sugar and stir till it dissolves and keep on low flames. Break the egg in a pot and beat gently. Sieve the remaining milk powder and backing powder in the same pot as egg and add the margarine/butter and mix to form dough. Form the dough into small rounded slender shaped balls and add to the boiling milk (do not stir). Keep on low flames till all the balls start to expand and rise to the top (about 5 minutes). Add saffron and cardamom powder and decorate with chopped pistachios. Serve chilled.
